Thank you so much for your support and encouragement on our mission to provide our Austin community with real food that’s grown, raised, and cooked with integrity. As you know, there are far too few options for those of us who understand the importance of protecting and promoting the health of our gut microbiome, our soil, and our planet with everything we consume. 

We at Seasons ATX truly care about strengthening our local food system while making farm-to-table food more available and convenient to our community. The truth, however, is that it is far more expensive and labor intensive to operate a food business that stays true to these values than we expected. Our team has been working 60, sometimes 70+ hour weeks, and yet the more we grew, the more money we seemed to be losing. We stand firm in our commitment to prepare food with 100% integrity which is why we’ve been unwilling to lower our sourcing or cooking standards.

After carefully reviewing our options, we’ve decided to halt our community farm-to-table meal service. This means that we will not be preparing food through the end of the year. We are instead introducing our new Bespoke Farm-to-Table Private Chef Service. This service will be completely relationship-based, meaning we will design custom meal plans that perfectly align with your unique lifestyle. It will also honor the real costs associated with chef-prepared, farm-to-table meals while not sacrificing the quality of our food nor the well-being of our team. This private chef service will launch at the start of the new year.

  • Seasons snacks & desserts

  • Customization of types and cuts of protein

  • Accommodation of dietary preferences

  • Customization of grab-and-go vs. heat-and-eat meals

  • Unique packaging options for individuals, couples, and families 

  • Flexible travel options

The base cost of this farm-to-table meal service will be $500 per week per household, plus the wholesale cost of your menu’s ingredients. We’ve developed this model based on other comparable private chef offerings, although all of our food will remain uniquely aligned with our values: hyper-local, hyper-seasonal, regeneratively raised, and cooked with 100% integrity. Although we’re sad to have to cut our more accessible farm-to-table meal service, we’re looking forward to working with up to 10 households at the turn of the new year. For those of you who cannot afford this new model, we want you to know that we still have dreams of serving you. We will stay in touch about upcoming pop-up restaurant style gatherings, community dinner parties, supper clubs, and more. Perhaps one day we will even have our own community cafe and regenerative farm! After all, what’s life without dreams? Thank you again for your support in our mission.
